Residue
02 May 2020 Saturday Poetry Prompt: veil &/or fragments
As covered in smoke
the total veil/ the screaming for
the soundless grey
Pieces of the fragments that were
supposed to be left on the table
still this morning
had organized themselves in the wrong
whole
The clouds keep changing
the background
Wanted to finally ditch frailty
but couldn’t stand up
when I tried
Every TV shout that goes unwhispered
reveals the silence
again
