Halfway through the sex dream
opened to driving

spun round by the world
and wind
not letting
me get any rest

or seeing bodies
that are really there —
humped over by the snow
and wind

sculptures
of genital gods
I thought —
hitting the brakes
before sliding off the road

gravel catches
but ice lubricates
the rubber friction —
back to the slide

back to the extraordinary
body on body
without the fucking snow
obscuring anything

gain grip — slip
again
and then downhill
again
eyes flashing madly
against monochromatic
landscape
