A mostly straight walk

Hopeless, I spent all day in my head — in a sordid and useless moment I tried to offer my headache to the pine trees —either they said no or they were just ignoring me —

I lifted into a sensory place, feel the burning along the outline of my abdomen — a silly thing, the belly — home and love and disgust all at once —
