The Perceived

A Poem

Stranger shapes
locked into a dance of smoke
& veils
The illumination is always
only a moment
before the perception must ask
what was seen
& unseen
Strolling through a dialectic
of reticence
& second guesses
the morning leaves you hurting
You’re trying to catch something
aren’t you?
