Saturday’s writing prompt: feeling the blank

My empty notebook is full.
Though it contains no words or pictures,
it holds an abundance of opportunity.
It needs no ink or graphite to be inspiring,
for blank space is perhaps the most inspiring of all.
A blank page, an empty palette, a block of modeling clay,
an untrodden blanket of fresh snow.
Works of art all on their own simply by inviting…
