To Nowhere
Be wherever as long as its together
It is a joy seldom felt in our lifetimes
To be loved and completely so
To have flaws and facets and faultlines
And be held in esteem even though
In the nights that will feel unforgiving
And the days that are spent at mind’s sea
Are the people for whom we are living
And the reasons our hearts strive to beat
Life, as you’ll know, is for loving
And though darkness runs deep through us all
The sweetest light is ours for the bringing
Small steps are still steps afterall
Close your eyes now friend and remember
If one breath is all you can spare
The song sung with friends is forever
We shall journey as one to nowhere
