All together feeling each other’s care,
Praying for loved ones and warriors,
Fighting on fronts with an unseen enemy.
People moving away from cities,
For safety and survival.
Remembering the day, when we lit Diya’s,
For rejuvenating positivity and strength.
Clapped hands and ranged bells,
Sang songs and raised salutes,
In appreciation of real heroes.
It’s a changed world now, with masks on the face,
Greetings in Namastes and birthdays on video calls.
We all will remember when we paused,
And fought this uncertain battle.
By keeping us away from each other.
Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and We Are Together Even Being Apart.
