Four Weeks In

I know what you’re thinking, what a creative title! But hey let’s not dwell on the past, let me tell you about everything China.

It’s good to be back. Real good. The cheap food, the culture, the weird past times are all what I missed in my past two years in the states. The people here are so quirky too! I love it. My opportunities to go back to China are definitely diminishing, so I’m happy to be here to say the least.

The weekends have been great, but truth be told, this internship has been pretty uneventful so far. It’s so severe that whole days would go by where the manager would not even talk to us because there is no work to give us. Clearly, the company is very well staffed and handling things by themselves. At least we learned many useful key concepts that will come in handy in the future. I also got to translate a bunch of documents, so I’m glad my English came in handy.

Ultimately, I’m not one to complain about such trivial things. I’m happy. I’m knocking out books likes crazy and am learning interesting new things. I’m playing basketball with my coworkers everyday so that’s also really fun. More to come, I’ll see you in two weeks!
