Three new dive industry surveys.
We hope this message finds you well and we thank you for following Scubanomics.
In our quest to find and share more actionable data on the dive industry, we currently have three ongoing surveys. We would appreciate your participation if you haven’t answered them yet.
At all times, you can find links to ongoing surveys & results from past surveys, here.
- Panic & Scuba Diving: A survey on the causes and remedies of diver panic in collaboration with InDepth magazine, Scubanomics, and Dr. Laura Walton.
- Evaluating the Quality of Open Water Courses & Discover Scuba Diving Experiences: How would you rate the quality of your initial Open Water Diver course or Discover Scuba Diving adventure? Is there consistency in the quality of the experience?
- Dive Industry Business Model & Practices: We are on a mission to improve the quality of the experience provided to scuba divers while upgrading the working conditions of dive professionals.
On that last topic, here is a recent editorial:
- Don’t Blame The Internet! The Traditional Dive Shop Business Model Was Dead Before That. Eight challenges & six elements of solution for a scuba diving industry in sync with today’s consumers.
Reminder: We published two reference books for dive professionals. Please have a look and give us some feedback.
