Integrative Health Day — TUESDAY — 10/9

In honor of SCU’s integrative, interprofessional educational model — our student clubs will join together for an informative day of fun, food, and prizes.

Activities Will Include:

Physician Assistant Student Society (PASS) — Intubation demonstration, vitals, speaking about the scope of practice and integrative settings.

Student California Chiropractic Association (SCCA) and World Congress of Chiropractic Students (WCCS) — DC — Discussion and Open Lab demonstration in the J building

Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (ACMA) and College of Eastern Medicine (CEM)
– Ear seeding in the Glen.

Physician Assistant Week — 10/6–10/12

Every year from October 6–12, we celebrate National PA Week, which recognizes the PA profession and its contributions to the nation’s health. This week is also an opportunity to raise awareness and visibility of the profession.

SCU’s PA students will be celebrating PA week in the following ways:

October 8th — Breast Cancer Awareness — Students wore pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness

October 9th — PA students, faculty, and staff will participate in Integrative Health Day

October 10th — Wacky Wednesday — AAPA photo challenge

October 11th — Scrub Day — Students will wear scrubs and SCU shirts

Tactical Strength and Conditioning Clinic — 10/13

Attend the First Annual Tactical Strength and Conditioning Clinic!

SCU’s Office of Tactical Sports Medicine presents the First Annual Tactical Strength and Conditioning Clinic (TSAC). Join us for a one-day clinic designed to educate the first responder, tactical facilitator, and health practitioner on the latest research and techniques in exercise science that will optimize their performance as well as their own well-being.

Cost: $25 for students, $90 for non-students
