Like a monsoon, words fell
from my stormy mind.
My umbrella, my hand.
My towel, my notebook.
My rain suit, my pen.
And the song I sing in the rain, your name.

Like a forest foggy night
thoughts blurring my mind.
My lantern, your eyes.
My knife, your smile.
My camp, your arm.
And the moon lighting my way, your face.

Like the sweetest dream
kisses landing on my neck.
Your lips, my candy.
Your voice, my song.
Your hair, my dawn.
And the reality I’m escaping from, this dream.
