I stare at the screen
My heart races
I face a vast open that leaves me unbalanced
So many possibilities my fingers can take me on
This feeling leaves me both empowered and powerless
What will I write today?
Will I write today?
Will any of it make sense?
Will anyone give a damn?
These are the thoughts that only another writer will understand
only another anxious mind will resonate with
So here I am
It’s me against the screen
words against resistance
