Death Waits

development is over

here follows the long ride into death

where I’ll be given to the ground

to decompose

microbes to the soil

nutrients for the plants

to continue the cycle of life

an energy of nature

and when my skull cracks

the electricity exit

braves the wave of relativity

forever in the stars

a spark from the past
