In the midst of my ongoing battle with severe OCD and its relentless intrusion of thoughts, I remain resolute in my commitment to speak the unfiltered truth about the plight of our brothers and sisters in Palestine.

Though my mind is plagued with discouraging whispers, urging me to remain silent and avoid engaging on the USA president’s Instagram page,

And the constant fear of potential reprisal from anti-Palestinian and anti-Islam groups, I adamantly refuse to be cowed by fear.

When I consider the worst-case scenario, it’s ultimately the inevitability of death.

Yet, we are all on a path leading us to that final moment, departing from this world.

I find solace in the belief that I would rather confront this fate while raising my voice and fighting for the freedom of others from the shackles of oppression than in silence.

This commitment is an honor I would not trade for anything.

Consequently, I took a historic step and, for the very first time, commented on the POTUS’ Instagram page on his evil actions against the Palestinians.

The experience was profoundly liberating, and I felt immense pride in the genuine Zahra, an aspiring warrior of God.

To those who opt for silence in the face of Palestinian oppression, I pose a question:

What response will you offer when your descendants ask, “On which side of history did you stand during the Palestinian genocide?”

My hope is that your answer will resound with pride: “I fought for their rights, for justice, for truth, and I chose to be on the right side of history.” 🙏😭
