Gift Of Color
A Poem

As he slides on his glasses,
he can now see-
a world that looks normal
to you and me.
Their leaves so sheen-
the trees now vibrantly green.
The red at the top of the light-
has never appeared this bright.
He looks down and sees his pants
the red color his vision now grants
such a simple gift
sent his world a shift
He no longer has to guess-
He only needs to express.
What his vision now shows,
the rest of the world already knows.
