Longing for the Day

A soul can hope

I long for the day when smiles have exiled frowns
When love buys our moments
And moments no longer tick-tock amid fuss

I long for the day when peace will know no barrier
When compassion exceeds distraction
And distraction no longer entertains our laughter

Dirty realism, grunge lit, creative confessions, spec fic, and assorted literary atrocities.
