Not that secure

biology

precisely in its nature really

green and dying

and the air

quite morbidly organic

but then it paints so pretty

tinting lips and tongues

all running colour down the walls

left out to sun

it dried to dust

now getting traced across the floors

with glittered feet and toes

dancing, printing pictures

glossy

glazed in what’s still there

and somewhat melted

while the little loves

the microplastics

stick around and twinkle
