prelude to job arcade

Photo by Sam Jean from Pexels

this maze beneath the job arcade is riddled
with dangerous traps — false walls and pitfalls
and so many illusory paths…
it makes you question everything — makes you
doubt your strength,
causes you to lose yourself, hate yourself,
abuse yourself, and fear stupid things
that shouldn’t even matter…
this maze you think is a vocational escape
is really just a twisted place
where your vision gets disturbed
and your beliefs get all contorted…

Dirty realism, grunge lit, creative confessions, spec fic, and assorted literary atrocities.
