induction is an art form
and though we’ve mastered great feats
of thought and reason,
we are still flawed in our judgements
I find it hard to be neutral
I tend to be persuaded by how
believable your conclusions are
we’re humans, so we’re susceptible
to all the temptations and frailties
that sad people tend to suffer from
we don’t trust ourselves enough
I’m telling you, frustration is
both typical and temporary
don’t be such a stickler here,
for punctuation and all that bullshit
give your eyes a fucking break…
space out once in a while
be a snake, and slither around
without a care, leave no trace…
because the gut wasn’t designed
to solve all our problems
maybe my language is prone
to break…but I should remind you
biological change is much
slower than cultural shifts
and we were built to solve
the problems of a different world
