A delicate blue turban frames a face,
and sunlight whispers on her lace.
A moment of stealth captured within.
A pearlescent rip across her flesh.

Eyes like the deepest well pools,
where secrets yearn to be revealed but are not heard.
A half-smile plays across her lips.
A brushstroke’s drips, a whisper’s breath.

Warmth and shadows take flight,
as the canvas sings in subdued gold light.
Pearl and girl, bonded for eternity,
A profound silent symphony.

The touch of Vermeer, a spell of magic,
Beauty sealed in time to linger.
