Two seconds of nothingness
Eyelids shut the world long gone
Heartbeats accelerating
Voices slowly fading away
The mind finally feels light
Everything you want to feel
All the worries you’re dreading
All the hopes you’re clinging to
Everything … it just sinks
It all feels dead to you
Yet you’re free from who you are
Detached from what you want
Unchained to the reality
And sometimes that’s all you need
Those two seconds of nothingness
