Waning Moon

in time

Lady in black walking into the cemetery.

I wane
when the moon does
I do, otherwise too.

I crouch
beside myriad shadows
lost in the
November Rain.

When sliced
— thin — my heart, vain
holds on, frozen.

thawing not, by
daylight unseen
thru eyes mere mortal.

I vouch
by the bleeding
— soul — true, to virtues untold.

Oh, and I kill
the heart — traitorous —
savagely, with love infinite.
