Upholding Brahmacharya is crucial for awakening one’s Inner Guru, an essential spiritual process. As I had scribbled before, Brahmacharya does not mean celibacy. Instead, it means cultivating Divine Conduct.
While an external guru can offer valuable guidance and support, their role is still limited. They merely give you a glimpse of your potential to discover your spiritual truth. Ultimately, the journey is yours to undertake, which makes the invocation of your Inner Guru important.

Mental impurities like greed, jealousy, anger, and so on hinder spiritual growth. The more manipulative your mind, the farther it is from your Truth. Hence, overcoming these negativities via self-purification is important for invoking the Inner Guru, which will lead you to your spiritual destination.
