Design for Social Change

As our final academic project we are working on how design can create social change by looking at the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Over next 10 weeks we would investigating the SDG 11 , which lay goals for achieving Sustainable Cities and Communities by 2030. We will be inquiring into what sustainability means , what cities need, do we even need cities and how would communities live & interact. The goal of this course is not to try and come up with a design solution or a product but to draw discourses, discussions and understanding around society while developing individual and group methodologies.

It is an exploration of our agency in society as a designer.

In upcoming weeks we will be talking more about our processes and where we are heading as individuals and as a group.
