1.From a recent IISD SDGs Knowledge Hub article, over 35 countries have already volunteered to present National Reviews at the 2018 High Level Political Forum. 43 countries presented Voluntary National Reviews at the 2017 HLPF last month.

2. Earlier this week, StartingUpGood released an article comparing and contrasting the SDG priorities of impact investors (using recent reports from InvestorFlow and the Global Impact Investing Network) to the SDG sequencing uncovered in the SDGs in Order project released earlier this year. SDGs In Order — an initiative of OECD, Bretton Woods, and Greenhouse — attempted to sequence the Global Goals into an achievable, logical order, using survey data from 85 experts and sustainable development professionals. Most priorities align between sustainable development experts and impact investors, except for one: Goal 16.

3. In more corporate news, Tata Group (a global enterprise headquartered in India) recently released its new sustainability report, this time aligning corporate social responsibility and philanthropy projects to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The report provides 65 case studies of various Tata Group initiatives, all aligned to the SDGs.

“We continue to be guided …by the new opportunities that the SDGs present to us, to meaningfully impact the global discourse, design and developmental agenda. So, this report is a testimony to the difference we are making in the world through our business innovations or by helping the communities in need.” Dr. Mukund Rajan, Chairman, Tata Global Sustainability Council
