1.Paris21, the Partnership in Statistics for Development in the 21st Century, has been regularly releasing a “Weekly Stats, Data and Development Roundup” for the past three months. This week’s roundup includes the latest updates from the International Institute for Sustainable Development, Devex, Johannes Jütting and more.

2. As the conversations around the role of business in monitoring and achieving the SDGs has heated up, Starting Up Good’s most recent ‘What to Read This Week’ rounds up the latest reports and resources for CEOs, entrepreneurs, and investors. Ranging from High Level Political Forum side events coming up this summer to reports from the UN Global Compact, the article unpacks in the latest recommendations for business to align with the Global Goals.

3. Yesterday, the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization Institute for Statistics issued its “most important education data release of the year”. The launch article details new indicator data and methodologies. UIS updates its database twice a year, and this release includes data for 2015 and for “the 2016 reference year” in a small number of countries. Data is available at UIS.stat, and a policy paper to analyze trends should be available in the coming weeks.
