3. Yesterday, the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization Institute for Statistics issued its “most important education data release of the year”. The launch article details new indicator data and methodologies. UIS updates its database twice a year, and this release includes data for 2015 and for “the 2016 reference year” in a small number of countries. Data is available at UIS.stat, and a policy paper to analyze trends should be available in the coming weeks.
