This week in the #SDGs- January 13, 2017

Our roundup of what we’ve found and what we’ve been reading this week.

1. The Center for Open Data Enterprise and the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data released the report from the U.S. SDG Data Revolution Roundtable held on December 14, 2016. The report lays out the roadmap for how the United States will strengthen national reporting, apply data for the SDGs in the US, and support global efforts.

2. The Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data, the UN World Data Forum, and other data organizations hosted a #UNDataForum twitter chat on Wednesday, January 11th. The chat highlighted 7 questions, covering topics including data innovation, protecting privacy and trust in data collection, and what ‘building data capacity’ means for everyone. All questions available at @SDGCounting.
