The Ship That Waits

The wall between freedom and monotony

Photo by Pat Whelen from Pexels

The warm sand caresses my feet; the pavement turns them black.

My senses soar at the helm of my ship; my charisma shrivels, gripping my car’s wheel on a caterpillar freeway.

I long for the sea.
