Easy D.I.Y Halloween Decorations
For College Students

Jack-O-Lanterns
College can be very time consuming. Good thing these jack-o-lanterns are quick and easy to make. Grab some orange tissue paper balls and turn them into spooky Halloween pumpkins. Just cut some facial features and stems from construction paper, line them up on your desk and get into the Halloween spirit.

Mason Jar Mummies
As a college student you probably have many if not all of the materials for these mason jar mummies. All you will need are some mason jars, google eyes and some thin pairs of socks. Cut off the toe portion of the sock you are using and insert a mason jar so that the sock creates folds and there you have it. Oh…but wait…don’t forget about the eyes or else the mummies may just come for yours!

Spider Web
What’s Halloween without a good spider web? But who wants to deal with the hassle of using the traditional cotton balls that can leave a big mess once your done. Try creating your own with the use of black garbage bags, a Sharpie, a pair of scissors and some tape. Follow here for instructions.

Halloween Hand Soap
Even the smallest of decorations can make a difference in your dorm. Try turning your hand soap into spooky hand soap. All you need to do is add small Halloween decorations into your hand soap such as small pumpkins, eyes, spiders and witch’s hats and stir.

Halloween Lights
If you already have lights hanging in your dorm room then this is an easy way to turn your room into a spooky Halloween theme. Recycle your K-Cups or use small orange cups and insert lights by making a small hole on the bottom. Grab a Sharpie, give your cups some spooky faces and your good to go.

BOO Halloween Door Decoration
Decorate your dorm room door with a simple BOO sign that is easy to make. For this project you will need thin wooden letters, some paint, orange ribbon, and a stapler. Click here for tutorial.

Glow in the Dark Eyes
If you want to try and creep out your friends at night try take some empty towel paper rolls and cut out different shapes of eyes. Get creative. The creepier the better. Put some glow sticks into the rolls and duck tape both sides. Place the rolls around the room and watch your eyes come to life at nighttime.

Classical Bats
It’s not Halloween without bats flying around. Grab some black construction paper and cut out some of your own furry creatures. Google image bat outlines if you don’t know where to begin. Place them up on your wall or connect them with some string to make your bats fly.
