Nasir Hossain is an experienced all-rounder of Bangladeshi cricket. He is a right handed batsman and right hand off break bowler. He is one of the most important members in the Bangladesh National Cricket team. His ODI shirt no. is 69. All time he tries to do best for his team. He is also a fun loving person. He loves cricket so much. From his childhood, he wanted to become a cricketer. His first cricket coach is Shakir Rayhan and he is a local cricket coach of Rangpur.

In 2004, at the age of 13, Nasir Hossain was enrolled at BKSP (Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan). Within a short time, his talents was noticed by his teachers. In a short period of time, he became a well-known figure in BKSP. In 2008, at the age of 16, he got the opportunity to play Under-19 World Cup in 2008. He performed very well in the games. He also started his domestic cricket in 2008 for Barisal Division. There also he performed very well. On August 14, 2011, he started his International cricket career. He played his first ODI against Zimbabwe. He pulled his team out of any adverse situation. He is a very good striker of the ball.

  1. First Class Cricket: Nasir Hossain started his first class career on Oct 10, 2008 at Rajshahi against the Rajshahi Division. He played for Barisal Division. This match first innings, he go 10 runs against 6 balls and his second innings, he got 31 runs against 55 balls. This match he also bowled 11 over and give 27 runs and got 1 wicket. The Match result was drawn.
  2. Test Cricket: Nasir Hossain’s test match Debut on Oct 21, 2011 at Chittagong against West Indies. This match Nasir Hossain got 34 runs against 47 balls. This match he bowled, total 9 over and give 19 runs. The Match result was drawn.
  3. ODI Cricket: Nasir Hossain started his ODI career on Aug 14, 2011 at Harare against Zimbabwe. In this match, any batsmen did not play well, but Nasir Hossain came to bat at the 8th position and played a very good innings. He got 63 runs against 92 balls. But his team lost the match by 7 wickets.
  4. T20 Cricket: Nasir Hossain’s T20 match debuted on Oct 11, 2011 at Dhaka against West Indies. He did not bowled this match, but he got important 18 runs against 15 balls and his team won this match by 3 wickets.

Nasir Hossain plays defensive. He always comes to bat at lower order. He can be called the “Rahul Dravid” of Bangladesh Cricket team. He is a very good striker of the ball. He could score runs easily within a short time. In the last power play, he played very well.

He is a good bowler. He tries to ball wicket to wicket. It is very difficult to hit the ball for any batsman. Many good batsman cannot play his ball easily.

The most important part of Nasir Hossain’s playing is fielding. He is a very good fielder. Many people call him the wall of Bangladesh fielding. He takes many difficult catches many times.

Nasir Hossain

Nasir Hossain got his first century on December 30, 2011 against Pakistan. It was one of his memorable games. In this match, he got the Man of the Match award.

He scored a half century on July 20, 2012 against Ireland. For his performance, he got the Man of the Match awards and his team won the match by 1 run.

On March 11, 2013 he scored another great century against Sri Lanka.

Present Performance:

Recently, he is not doing so well. Unfortunately, he missed few important matches. Nasir Hossain is a big part in Bangladesh Cricket Team. All time he tries to do something for his team. He is also a hard worker. In future, he will be one of the best all rounders of Bangladesh Cricket Team.

Nasir Hossain was born in Rangpur on November 30, 1991. He has one sister and four brothers. His height is 5.9” and looks beautiful. Personally, he loves cricket so much. He wanted to become a cricketer since his childhood. He also likes to play football. If he failed in cricket he would have looked for a regular 9–5 job.
