I have to let go of whatever remnants of religious divisiveness I still allow to cling to me. Yeah, after all these years of sobriety. The heaven above and
hell below with creation caught in between, is a masochistic world view. I don’t subscribe to it, but before you say, “Me neither.”– I may have let it go, but it may not have let me go.

I must cleanse myself of the notion that purity is above and just out of reach and the carnal is below.

Our spiritual quest is not something above all the earthy things we do. Spirit has to be interwoven into every earthy thing we do — otherwise it’s meaningless.

The earthly does not have to be put down, overcome, or forsaken for me to have a spiritual journey. Join heaven and earth and the journey is wherever I am, molding everything I do.
