A little something about Something Visual

Something Visual is a media company established by Daniel Kirkman: ocean-lover, father, professional photographer and videographer.

After many years of practicing and learning the art of image capture and production, Daniel decided to elevate his passion from pastime to profession by starting Something Visual and providing services to couples in love, mothers to be, businesses on the rise, and to anyone wanting to capture a special moment in time.

His comfort in the ocean can be seen in his ability to capture unique moments in his lens, such as this breaching Humpback Whale just off the shore from Main Beach, Forster:

Or this image of local surfer Trent McMurray from a tubular morning at Tuncurry Beach:

And his patience and artistic-eye is evident in this moody seascape from Hayden’s Rock in Forster:

But not everything Daniel does through Something Visual needs to have salt water included. His landscape photography is always full of emotive beauty:

Something Visual is not all about frozen images in time though. Daniel began his journey in digital imagery with a video camera; ‘moving pictures’ were his original preference, and as you can see from this short clip about the beautiful Great Lakes area, Daniel knows how to make moving images come alive:
