Instead of Paper, These Sturdy, Biodegradable Plates Are Made From Leaves

Dinnerware doesn’t get any greener than this.

German-based company Leaf Republic has started manufacturing and selling disposable plates made out of leaves from Eastern Asia.

Not only are the waterproof plates made without any glue or additives, but they also biodegrade within 28 days. Plus, Leaf Republic now ships internationally.
