Good to Be Alive Today
Michael Franti & Spearhead have a new song out and a movement they hope to inspire along with it. The song is called Good to be Alive Today and it’s an attempted antidote to the overwhelming series of bad and horrific news that keeps crashing into our live today. I know on Twitter I see people more than ever saying how unsure they are they could handle any more news terrorism, retaliation killings, dying refugees, well, you know. He’s even trying to build a movement of positivity around the song you may want to peep.
So yeah, maybe this song has even more meaning to me, but it’s a beautiful response to the radical hatred that keeps shocking us. I suspect if you don’t have a need to listen to on repeat today, maybe you’ll want to save it for another day you do.
Thanks to old friend Shauna Green for letting me know about this.
