Let’s start at the beginning. When a project comes in, it’s important that all teams, from SEAT CODE and SEAT, S.A., are focused on the same goal and mission. We need a global approach to the problem, so what we do first is create an exhaustive common benchmark to analyse not only the specifics, but the whole context and environment. This helps us find inspiration to create cutting-edge solutions that can be implemented and even scaled beyond the main project.

To ensure we’re always working on the same page, we use tools that give us global visibility of the work status. The tools help us stay connected, creating a constant communication channel that allows us to work as one team. They have different formats and objectives, but all together, the tools are essential. They facilitate the visualisation of the projects, allowing anyone to be up to date at any time, and connect our different abilities to speed up the development process.

In our work, there are two crucial factors that guide our path. The first is focusing on speedy deliveries of the highest quality standards which directly impact CUPRA and SEAT operations. The second is that we adhere to a feedback- oriented philosophy which involves analysing and implementing improvements based on real user experiences. Our AGILE methodology has proven highly valuable for delivering solutions, as it enables us to gather data, suggest improvements, and tailor them to meet the needs of both clients and users.

How does it impact our work?

The collaboration of SEAT CODE with the different SEAT, S.A. teams has resulted in some cool projects we’re very proud of. One of them is the CUPRA website makeover. We noticed that users did’t know much about electric or hybrid vehicles, so we created an EV Section, an attractive landing page where you can learn about electric vehicles, get to know your dream car, take quizes, read about governmental subsidies, discover the CUPRA Charging Map and much more. Our solution is already helping increase visibility for this information, which is motivating us to continue working and thinking about what’s next.
