Secret Network’s Confidential Computing Layer is Expanding to Africa after a recent partnership announcement with Lisk!
Secret Network Africa is excited to announce a partnership with Lisk Africa. This partnership will strengthen the Secret’s confidential computing layer and Lisk’s Optimism’s Superchain initiative development ecosystem, unlocking new capabilities for dApps within both communities in Africa.
Secret Network’s Confidential Computing Layer transcends geographical boundaries.
Secret Network Africa will provide dedicated support to Lisk Africa developers and the community. Developers from Lisk Africa will participate in HackSecret III, with a tailored workshop for Lisk Africa Developers on integrating Secret’s confidential computing layer into their dApps and compete for HackSecret prizes.
Secret Africa will work with Lisk Africa to provide documentation and technical support on integrating Secret’s confidential computing layer into dApps built by the Lisk Africa developers’ community. To foster community engagement and knowledge sharing, we will collaborate on various campaigns, events, and workshops.
What can be built with Secret’s confidential computing layer on Lisk?
Some examples of what this can enable are private voting for Lisk DAOs, encrypted storage for Lisk applications, secure random number generation for Lisk games, confidential data access control via Lisk NFTs, sealed-bid auctions for Lisk NFTs and other assets, and encrypted order books for Lisk DeFi applications!
What’s Next?
Tapping into the African market, accessing new talents of developers pool, and building strong recognition and credibility for Lisk Africa and Secret Africa in Africa.
This partnership with Lisk Africa is a significant step in that direction. We believe this collaboration will open up new avenues for developers and bring innovative solutions to the forefront. An X Space event will be hosted to discuss the details of the Secret Africa and Lisk Africa partnership, providing an opportunity for the community to learn more and ask questions.
