HACKSECRET III
HackSecret III is an opportunity to build cutting-edge Web3 applications, utilizing Secret Network’s decentralized confidential computing (DeCC) capabilities. Confidential computing enables exciting new use-cases, and Secret Network’s Confidential Computing Layer enables developers to build on Secret and other blockchains through cross-chain communication unlocking powerful new use-cases for Web3. Secret Network’s Decentralized Confidential Computing Layer makes this possible.
This hackathon includes two tracks, for cross-chain applications, and native Secret applications. The event was hosted in partnership with Linea.
Builders can build with Secret on Linea, and can win in the Dev Cook-Off and HackSecret at the same time 1ETH and $8000 up for grabs.

Secret Ordinals NFT minting
Secret Ordinals NFT, is the first collection on the Secret Network blockchain burned after minting and subsequently inscribed on the Bitcoin blockchain. All 77 Bitcoin Ordinal NFTs have been minted out. The minting was on Stashh App to ensure complete privacy during the minting process and burned after minting and inscribed on Bitcoin blockchain, making them immutable and tamper-proof.

Integration of Secret’s Confidential Computing Layer with LineaBuild
Secret's Confidential Computing Layer with LineaBuild. Secret will provide LineaBuild with tooling, documentation, and support unlocking several new use cases for applications in the Linea ecosystem!
Secret verifiable randomness function is one of the tools on Linea from Secret Network which deploys Linea randomness contract. Private polls and voting is another example. Users can use SecretPath as a cross-chain bridging solution for Linea, unlocking limitless cross-chain functionality.

Secret Network joins the CVP family after passing the Metis Governance Community Ecosystem Governance vote. This will enable Secret Network to offer its decentralized confidential computing to Metis. This upgrade added DCAP attestation with several benefits for the network such as;
- Enables node runners to use newer and more efficient hardware

The integration of Secret Network into the Metis ecosystem significantly enhances the security and privacy of decentralized applications (dApps). Key features include private voting for DAOs, sealed-bid auctions for NFTs to prevent front-running, secure random numbers for fair blockchain gaming, encrypted storage and messaging to protect user data, and encrypted order books for DeFi to prevent data leaks. This collaboration aims to foster greater user trust and drive adoption in the web3 DeFi space. Also, VRF Cross-chain workshop was hosted by Secret Network and Metis.

Secret Network partnered with Lisk. This partnership will strengthen the Secret’s confidential computing layer (SCCL) and Lisk’s Optimism’s Superchain initiative development ecosystem, unlocking new capabilities for dApps within both chains.
