Message from Head of Digital Strategy at Secured Finance
Dear Secured Finance Community Members,
As we look back on the second quarter of 2023, the Digital Strategy team at Secured Finance is thrilled to share significant milestones that mark our journey towards enhancing platform adoption and refining user experiences. This quarter was marked by substantial advancements in our digital communication initiatives and strategic user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design efforts, setting a strong foundation for future growth and innovation.
Expanding Our Digital Footprint
Throughout Q2, our commitment to expanding our digital communication channels led to impressive growth in our online presence. We report a quarterly growth of over 23% in our Twitter followers, bringing our total follower count to more than 56K. Our Discord community also saw substantial expansion, with an 18% increase resulting in a member count of over 54K. These figures are a testament to our effective digital communication strategies, which have resonated with our community and significantly contributed to our web3 community’s development.
One of our standout achievements this quarter was the steady increase in our testnet platform users, which hit over 13,000 active users by the end of the quarter. This growth underscores the success of our communication initiatives that employed effective web3 campaigns, engaging educational content, and a user-friendly platform that resonates with our target audience.
A crucial component of our Q2 strategy was expanding our global footprint through active participation in key industry events. Our presence at events in Tokyo and Hong Kong in April offered a distinctive platform to enhance awareness of Secured Finance and the opportunities in DeFi and Web3. These events facilitated vital conversations about the evolving landscape of finance, focusing on the intersection of traditional finance, regulation, governance, and decentralized finance (DeFi). Moreover, our role as sponsors and panelists at the Oxford Blockchain Conference in the UK extended our reach into European emerging markets.
Enhancing User Interface and Experience
In Q2, a significant aspect of our work was improving the user interface (UI) to ensure optimal user experience (UX) across various devices. We introduced responsive design to our platform, enabling it to automatically adapt to different screen sizes, resolutions, and orientations. This ensures an optimal interaction experience for users, whether they access our platform via mobile, tablet, or desktop.
Alongside this, we made substantial upgrades to our platform in collaboration with our Engineering and Markets teams. These enhancements included new UI designs for the pre-open market and Itayose process, the circuit breaker UI, and trading confirmation features. Additionally, we developed actionable status alerts and notifications to keep our users informed about risk management, platform capabilities, and market availability.
Throughout the quarter, we maintained a keen focus on facilitating seamless user adoption. The invaluable feedback we received from our users and supporters guided our refinement processes. As we look to the future, we are thrilled about potential upgrades to our UI design framework, which will expedite feature development and improve scalability and extensibility.
