First hijack in Japan.

Mar 31, 1970

Nine Japan Red Army members hijacked a Japan Airlines flight (Flight 351 from Tokyo to Fukuoka), forcing the plane to land in Pyongyang North Korea.

This was the first hijacking in modern Japan’s history.
