Recently, the globally-renowned music label Warner Music Group (WMG) announced that it is joining hands with DressX, a company concentrating on virtual merchandise or “verch.”

It is learned that the music company has invested an undisclosed amount in DressX, and the application will be the spot for WMG-partnering artists to create their own virtual fashion items. The agreement enables WMG’s artists to launch their own virtual clothing powered by 3D and augmented reality (AR) technology.
