Unit 2 Games has raised $5,000,000 in seed funding for development of Crayta, a collaborative, simple to use, fun, ‘free-to-play’, game-making and publishing platform, powered by user-generated content, and built on Unreal Engine 4 (same engine as Fortnite.) Makers Fund led the round. Unit 2 Games is based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
Proportunity has raised £2,000,000 in seed funding for its technology-driven mortgage lending platform, offering lower rates to its customers. The round was shared by Anthemis Group and Axel Springer Digital Ventures. Proportunity is headquartered in London.
Nu Quantum has raised a £650,000 pre-seed round. The company aims to deliver high-rate, quantum-secure key cybersecurity (find out more here). The round was led by Amadeus Capital Partners, with participation from IQ Capital, Martlet and University of Cambridge Enterprise.
BlackDice provides machine learning software for device management and cybersecurity for telecoms service providers. The company raised a £500,000 seed round from the Development Bank of Wales. Their HQ is in Manchester.
MIME Technologies, based in Inverness, Scotland, have raised £225,000 in seed funding. The company aims to revolutionise the support given to cabin crew during in-flight medical events, through monitoring a passenger’s vital signs while communicating with clinicians on the ground. Equity Gap and Scottish Investment Bank.
zeroheight have raised $150,000 in seed funding for their business style guide and document design software. The latest top-up comes from Y Combinator, after having raised previously from Entrepreneurs First, Ascension Ventures and Funders Club.
Strapi has raised $4,000,000 in seed funding to help developers easily build, deploy and manage APIs through its open-source software. The round was shared between Stride and Accel. Strapi is based in Paris.
Audion, an adtech company developing technology to automate, customize and measure digital audio advertising, has raised €1,100,000 in seed funding from Founders Future and Kima Ventures. The company are headquartered in Paris.
box2box has raised €300,000 in seed funding from Encomenda VC. Box2box is an online door to door storage service that allows their clients to store their items without dedicating time or effort. They are headquartered in Madrid.
Versameb raised ~$650,000 in seed funding. The Basel, (Swiss) based biotechnology platform company focusing on the optimized local delivery of therapeutic proteins. Novartis Venture Fund led the round.
Dockflow completed their €105,000 pre-seed round this week. It is a container tracking platform used to track worldwide temperature-controlled shipments. Investors were undisclosed. The Dockflow team are based in Antwerp.
Autify has raised $2,500,000 in seed funding for its no code, we application testing application. Global Brain, Salesforce Ventures and Archetype Ventures all participated in the round. The company is split between Japan/San Fran.
Bijak have raised a $2,500,000 seed round. The company is a B2B trading platform for agricultural commodities. Surge Ahead led the round, with participation from Blume Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Nexus Venture Partners and Omidyar Network. Bijak is headquartered in Haryana.
Bare Anatomy raised $500,000 in seed funding. The company, headquartered in Gurgaon, provides personalised hair care products depending on the individuals’ lifestyle and natural hair type. The round was led by Sauce VC.
Legalkart have raised ~$500,000 in seed funding for their client file sharing and collaboration tool. They raised the money from various angels. They are headquartered in Gurgaon.
School of Accelerating Learning has raised $300,000 in its seed round. The school is India’s first hybrid Bootcamp for emerging technologies and future work-skills, designed for Industry 4.0. The round was led by Astarc Ventures.
