Brilliant companies have always been built amidst macro uncertainty, and this time is no different.

Without further delay, highlights of this weeks funding rounds:

  • 🇬🇧 Synthesized saw a nearly $3m round backed by Seedcamp and others. The company produces synthetic data (using AI) in order to maintain its functionality whilst safeguarding its sensitivity.
  • 🇬🇧Culture Shift raised $1.6m for its platform that enables workers to confidentially report workplace harassment.
  • 🇮🇳 FamPay was backed by Y-Combinator, GFC and Sequoia Capital India for its GoHenry-esque prepaid card for teens.
  • 🇸🇬 Sama raised just over $1m from Collaborative Fund and Antler for its recruiting platform for Migrant workers.
