11 New Projects join the Seed Club Social Token Incubator #SC02
Seed Club, the “Crypto Y Combinator for Creators”, is announcing its second cohort of creators, communities and brands who want to design and launch their own tokens.
The inaugural cohort featured Grammy-winning artist RAC, the man who tokenized himself Alex Masmej and NFT pioneer Connie Digital.
Among SC02 participants are a mystical NFT with plans for community ownership, an initiative to define a new category of journalism centered around 24/7 coverage of live digital events, and a music focused Patreon operated by artists as a co-op.
Cohorts work alongside some of the smartest people in social tokens, creator economies and crypto ecosystems. We believe social tokens will unleash new monetization opportunities for creators, brands and communities alike and are excited to work directly with our new cohort.
We’re delighted to announce the participants in our second cohort #SC02. They are:
Axia, the Mystical Axie #265 that was recently sold for 180 ETH has plans to be the first social token controlled NFT.
Rendar.org — Editioned digital artworks by the world’s leading street artists curated by Mark Date and gallerist Steven Hayles — Founder of the Upfest Gallery, Europe’s largest street art and graffiti festival.
Week in Clubhouse — a group defining a new category of journalism centered around 24/7 coverage of live digital events happening in our digital world.
Ampled — Patreon style platform for music that is a co-op, collectively owned by artists and workers.
Global Coin Research — a Global cryptocurrency and blockchain news and research publication covering “happenings in over 200 countries”
JUMP — A community focused on getting brands and agencies to jump into crypto.
Protein — A globally recognised brand and network of “curious creatives” centered around the idea of “good growth” (the act of balancing purpose, profit and progress.)
$HEAT — Home of the #heatcheck is bringing tastemaking back to the communities building the next wave of culture.
Menottis — Coffee shops were the original social network, this LA coffee shop with two locations is looking to explore how a social token can expand an IRL network into a digital one.
The Global Startup Movement — A Washington, D.C. based media publisher with a focus on startups ecosystems in emerging markets.
The First Mint — An emerging media company covering NBA Top Shot Analytics
Whats next?
Over the next 6-weeks the creators and teams behind these projects will work closely with Seed Club to better understand how web3 tools can help them create more value and impact for the fans, communities and customers they serve.
