Metastrike: Introducing the Ultimate First Person Shooter VR Metaverse

Metastrike
Metastrike is a VR role-playing first-person shooter (FPS) metaverse inspired by successful titles like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Call of Duty. By combining the best of FPS with the power of blockchain technology, Metastrike offers a full-blown immersive high-octane, skill-based gaming experience with play-to-earn features that both new and veteran gamers will enjoy diving into.
The Game and Game-play
Since Metastrike is free-to-play, gamers will be able to start playing at no cost while having options to advance and enhance their gameplay through in-game purchases.
Equipment and NFTs
Like traditional FPS games, Metastrike will feature an array of weapons, characters and equipment. In contrast to traditional games, though, these in-game items will be NFTs minted on the blockchain, allowing gamers actual ownership of these assets and the ability to monetize their game-play by trading or selling high-value weapons and items on the in-game or secondary markets.
Gamers will be able to build a collection of equipment and weapons and upgrade them to maximize earnings by participating in challenges and completing missions, having opportunities to earn tokens and NFT loot along the way.
As participants progress through the game, they will be able to collect better and more valuable weapons and items, along with the option to upgrade and enhance existing items into more valuable and powerful assets.
Weapons will fall into four levels, with each level having a corresponding rarity tier. The four levels are; Level 1 (Common), Level 2 (Uncommon), Level 3 (Rare) and Level 4 (Legendary). The higher a weapon’s tier is, the more value and earning potential it will have in the game.
Play-To-Earn and Game Modes
Metastrike will feature single-player PvE, PvP and Guild game modes, allowing gamers to engage in the game-play style and FPS scenario that best suits their taste.
In Zombie Mode, gamers will be able to embark on individual quests and complete challenges and missions to earn tokens based on their performance and game results.
PvP Deathmatch Mode will allow gamers to participate in high-stakes free-for-all showdowns, with the winner walking away with token rewards and loot.
In Team Mode, gamers will be able to form teams with friends and other players. Each team will be betting NFTs and tokens on the fight, with the winning team taking all, in this PvP scenario.
In Guild Mode, gamers will be able to experience the enhanced features of a metaverse world. Players will be able to own Land in the Metastrike Metaverse, having the ability to earn revenue by building a house and headquarters and designing custom games that other players will be able to play.
Gamers will also be able to engage in exciting guild battles and tournaments, having opportunities to earn high-value loot items and rewards and steal other teams’ lands.
Through the Metastrike Ranking System, ten percent of all in-game ($MTT) token transaction fees will be allocated to the top players each week.
Enhanced Earning: Build-To-Earn
Aside from play-to-earn game modes, participants will have opportunities to take advantage of Metastrike’s build-to-earn model, utilizing the Crafting Room, Design Room and available builder/design tools.
Experienced FPS players will have the ability to create and play on custom maps, which they will be able to mint as NFTs and make available for other gamers to vote on and deploy in the game.
Gamers will be able to craft lands, weapons, armor, knives and other game items, which they’ll be able to trade or sell to other players.
Marketplace
The Metastrike Marketplace will allow participants to buy, sell and trade their collected, crafted and upgraded in-game assets, providing them with further monetization opportunities.
Tokens
Metastrike will utilize a dual token economic system to build a robust and sustainable Metaverse ecosystem.
$MTS
$MTS will function as a governance token, allowing holders to participate in the Metastrike DAO. The token will also be used for in-game functions, participating in missions with chances of high-value rewards, major guild vs guild tournaments, purchasing metaverse assets, such as Land and NFT boxes, and staking.
$MTT
$MTT will have no fixed supply and will be the primary in-game rewards token. It will also be used to unlock maps, participate in game modes and special events, purchase consumables, upgrade weapons and will be swappable to $MTS (with limitations and will require holding at least one NFT). $MTT will have burn functions to manage and maintain a sustainable supply.
