Hello Seedify Community!

Today, we are excited to take you on a journey into the mysterious lands of Gaia Everworld. The Gaia Everworld IGO is coming up on the Seedify Launchpad on November 1st.

Our story is set in a mysterious world filled with beautiful landscapes, strange creatures and savage monsters. Since its miraculous ascent from the ocean’s abyss and its subsequent discovery, this strange land has been used as a place of exile for the ruthless Emperor Argath’s political opponents.

The exiles quickly recognized the challenges they faced in their fight for survival in this hostile environment. Relying on the resources offered by this new world, along with their own resourcefulness, they built new colonies and new strongholds, intent on making this place their new homeland.

Alas, as the years passed and this new civilization continued to thrive and grow in strength, their ambitions and hunger for more land and more power followed suit. This has led to fighting amongst the exiles.

Far away, the exiles’ achievements did not escape the Emperor. He had taken notice of the power and success they attained by harnessing the land’s rich resources and breeding its mythical creatures to create large armies. The Emperor now wants this land for himself, and he has sent his massive army to conquer it, along with its wealth of resources.

This is an age of war. Will the exiles continue to selfishly fight amongst themselves? Or will they join forces and stand as one to defeat their mutual enemy, the ruthless Emperor? The future of their new homeland is at stake…..

Game, Characters and the Everworld

Gaia

Gaia are the mythical warring creatures of this mysterious land known as Gaia Everworld. Having broadly accepted the Emperor’s exiled people, the Gaia have come to look to their human counterparts for leadership in the war to defend their lands.

The Gaia creatures in the game are NFTs (ERC-721), featuring different personalities and abilities with varying in-game utility and rarity, depending on their region of origin. They can be used to battle or be bred, traded or sold.

Players will be able to capture or purchase Gaia, then train them to advance through grades and levels to gain new skills, which will be passable to new Gaia offspring produced through breeding.

A Gaia’s grade and region of origin, along with the level of training received, determines the skills it possesses.

There are a total of 18 Grades, ranked through a color system, with each grade having a possible combination of Amateur, Master or Legend skills. The grade of the Gaia determines the number of skills it is able to possess, with higher ranking creatures capable of having more skills than lower-ranking ones.

The Gaia categories are; Volcanic, Electronic, Coastal, Underground, Forest, Ice, Desert and Darkness.

The races of Gaia are; Moltanians, Elisseites, Arcadian, Muddles, Oakkers, Aulis, Petrians and Abyssals.

Breeding

Players will be able to breed their Gaia creatures to produce offspring.

The number of times a Gaia will be able to reproduce will be limited, with some having the ability to produce more offspring than others. To avoid hyperinflation, the maximum number of times a ‘super fertile Gaia will be able to reproduce is 10. However, this number may be reduced, depending on game growth and other economic factors.

The chance of the offspring Gaia’s category will be 50/50 between the 2 parents, which will determine its advantages and weaknesses, while the dominant parent’s color will determine the offspring’s grade. Some of the parents’ skills will also be passed onto their young.

Breeding will require both the governance token ($GAIA) and the in-game token ($GGP).

Regions of Gaia

Gaia Everworld features diverse geography and landscapes, with each region containing unique creatures and colonies of exiled humans who’ve adapted to their surroundings and climate conditions to thrive in their new homeland.

  • Petria is an immense, wide stretching desert region and home to the perpetual sandstorm, known as the Great Eye, that wanders through the region at length. The desert features many supernatural events, with the sudden ‘appearances’ of ancient marching armies and cities that rise from the haze and then vanish in the sand. Despite the harsh conditions, a minuscule amount of rain can result in a thriving oasis.
  • Moltania is a harsh, rocky mountainous region with flowing lava rivers. Many believe it’s a colossal volcano with many openings. Known to have an abundance of iron, gems and precious metals, this region is home to mining colonies and the best blacksmiths. The dwellers have an endless supply of iron and stone to build walls and defend the territory. Moltania is home to the Fire Bats Gaia, a breed adaptive to the smoldering surfaces, with an appetite for battle like no other.
  • Shoreland is a peaceful island that lies to the continent’s north, framed by golden beaches and filled with lush green vegetation, flowing rivers and waterfalls. The dwellers of Shoreland try to live harmoniously with other colonies but are known as fierce warriors, always prepared to defend their land whenever necessary.
  • Zapparos and it’s rolling plains are on the south of the continent, a region prone to erratic weather systems and lightning storms. Although initially not inhabited due to the electrical activity, the exiles learned to harness the lightning strikes and have made significant scientific and technological advancements due to electricity.
  • Auralis is a vast expanse of frozen lands. The further north you travel, the colder and more treacherous the conditions grow, as the forests give way to tundra, blizzards and fierce hailstorms. The discovery of a heated underground river has led to the establishment of a subterranean regional capital called Auli. Auralians ensure the survival of the land’s inhabitants through a region-wide alliance. Little is known about the Ice Gaia that live in this region. Stories of white lizards and magic spells are well known, but the tales’ origin and accuracy are unproven.
  • Oakendor lies to the east, featuring a rainforest with massive vegetation, creatures, and trees stretching miles into the sky. To avoid certain peril on the forest floor, due to massive insects, carnivorous plants and large serpent-like Gaia, the exile inhabitants of this region need to live in the treetops. There are rumors of feline-like Gaia ruling the forest floor and ape-like monsters ruling the canopy, although little is known about that, the Lizaphore Gaia of this region are the most known to humans in the Everworld.
  • Caven sits in the south-eastern region of Gaia, a labyrinth of canyons. A lush forest in the center of Caven provides its inhabitants with the ability to live comfortably. The forest region is small and has become centric to many battles. The human population and the need for survival within a small inhabitable area has led to the discovery of shallow caves with flowing rivers and precious metals. The group living in the caverns is known as The Dirts, while the group living in the forest is known as The Woods. Although feuds are ongoing between the two groups, they engage in trade, necessary for survival, with The Dirts usually getting the short end of the stick. Caven is home to the intellectual Gaia, who live in caves around the region.
  • Abyssen, with its ominous towering rock spires sulking in a thick sinister mist, lies beyond the canyons of Caven. Abyssen is known to entrance inhabitants of the surrounding lands, living close to its borders, luring them into the mist. One of the worst punishments for anyone residing in Caven is to be banished to Abyssen. The source of many legends and stories of voices beckoning from the mist and supernatural events, it’s unknown whether anyone who enters the gloomy fog can ever return.

Commanders

These lands and its armies are led by commanders, an eclectic group of gifted individuals and masters in strategy and leadership, fully capable of ruling their regions. Some are native to the land, while others are exiles, with each character having its own unique abilities and skillsets based on their regions in the game. Their backgrounds may be different, but they all share the same thirst for power and freedom.

  • Vartos: The son of exiled humans and a proficient hunter and master of training and befriending Gaia creatures in the rainforest of Oakender.
  • Sella: An orphan girl whose parents were taken by the Mist of Abyssen, leading to her being raised by a cruel uncle. She has the ability to ‘relocate’ bullies and abusive adults, using the power of the mysterious two shadow Gaia.
  • Old Jack: The former commander of the Emperor’s Imperial Army, who realized that he was not toiling for the greater good. He has pledged his allegiance to the people of Moltania.
  • Sarathe: An exiled princess and sole surviving member of her family. She’s honest to a fault, but possesses a terrible temper, bears grudges, and ‘gets even’. Her goal is to return to the former world and fight Argath.
  • Nemira: Born in the desert and captured as a young girl, along with her family, Nemira was trained as a thrall and scout in the Imperial army. She rebelled and was exiled, and built an empire in Petria.
  • Sestine: Exiled because her parents dared to publish and raise awareness about the Emperor’s atrocities, she patrols the island of Shoreland to deter poachers. Sestine is fierce, capable and prefers action to planning.
  • Eli Mauros: Coming from a long line of middle-class scholars, Eli continued his quest for knowledge at a time when education was a reserved privilege for the Noble class. He was arrested and sent to Gaia, where he immediately helped the exiles in Zapparos harness electricity. His thirst for learning is his only true desire.
  • Badrock: Born to Dirts in Caven, Badrock was intent on breaking the depressing cycle of working in the mines. He made it out of Caven and traveled around the Everworld looking for Gaia that match his aesthetic to prove that he’s the most bad ass Gaia commander. Go big or go home is his motto.

Gameplay and Play to Earn

The first two game modes that will be released will be a PvP turn-based arena battle game or Battle Mode, which will be followed by Legion Mode, a PvE real-time-strategy game.

Battle Mode

In Battle Mode, players will be able to engage in 1 v 1 and up to 4 v 4 battles to prove who the best Gaia commander is. Players will be matched with opponents based on their skill and color ranking and will be able to wager on the battles, receiving rewards that will be paid out with $GGP, the in-game token.

There will be the option to hold competitions in this mode, requiring an entry fee, which will contribute to the winner’s prize. Players will be able to own many Gaia, belonging to different legions, which will give them the ability to choose their battle legion, depending on the arena they wish to battle in, fighting to climb to the top of the leaderboard. The object will be to KO all of your opponent’s Gaia. In this scenario, both players will be rewarded for their skilled gameplay, with the winner receiving a larger reward.

Legion Mode

The original version of Legion Mode will be a PvE strategy game, where gamers will have the ability to build empires across multiple regions. Players will earn $GGP by using their Legion of Gaia to defend their kingdoms and completing challenges.

Players will start by selecting one of the exile legionnaire commanders and purchasing Gaia. Owning a Gaia NFT gives players access to the armies of that Gaia’s region. The object is to collect Gaia from all the different regions, which players will then be able to use, to combine troops from different regions to build a strong, devastating legion, well capable of defending the homeland.

Players will explore the EverWorld, to collect resources, capture and fight Gaia, bandits and enemy legions along the way, earning token rewards for completing tasks and challenges.

MMORPG and Metaverse

Further along the development roadmap, Gaia Everworld will feature a full MMORPG adventure game. Players will be able to own land in the Gaia Everworld metaverse, having the ability to add facilities and industries to gain advantages and convert resources to sellable items.

Players within the Gaia Everworld ecosystem will have multiple earning opportunities. This includes staking their tokens, earning tokenized rewards in different gaming modes, completing challenges, owning land and collecting resources, breeding and trading Gaia, renting their Gaia to others or selling other in-game items.

Marketplace

In the Marketplace, players will be able to buy, sell or auction valuable in-game items like land, new Gaia eggs, sorcerer’s potions, jewels, etc. Players will also be able to purchase facilities like fisheries and farms, resource silos, homesteads, buildings, etc., to level up their empire and increase their earnings from the game.

Tokens

  • $GAIA (ERC-20) has a limited supply and will be used on the Everworld marketplace to purchase land or Gaia, governance, some in-game functions, staking and other earning opportunities.
  • $GGP (ERC- 20) or Gaia Growth Potion will be the in-game token earned through winning battles and completing tasks. $GGP will be used to perform in-game actions like breeding or upgrading a commander’s skill levels. Tokens used in the game are burned to avoid inflation.

The Radicle Gaming team’s long-term goal is for Gaia Everworld to be fully decentralized.
