Behind the Scenes

The past few months has been filled with intense testing, iteration and development work. Here are the top 3 things we have been working on:

1) Growing the Seedly family

Yes you heard right! We have hired our first front-end mobile developer to join the team and it has been a wild ride so far. Gerald joins us with a background in years of mobile development experience. As quoted: “I love the challenge of building a technically sound product and with a smooth user experience. So yea, this was for me!”

2) Product Development and Testing

After multiple rounds of beta with our initial web MVP (minimum-viable-product) we decided to move toward a mobile-first product. Together with direct surveys with over 117 respondents and gathering focus groups, we were able to focus on the key features — Overview and Automatic categorisations, as key priorities.

3) DBS Hotspot Bootcamp and Launch Prep!

There were over 300 startups who applied to join one of the region’s most intensive bootcamp. However, only 28 got selected in the end!

Being a Fintech startup, there was added value in joining a big player like DBS as well. In fact, we pitch tomorrow to join the final 8, so we will update on our progress as we continue on this journey!
