What’s been happening at Seedly!
It’s been intense long hours working away at different tasks that mount up every day of the week. 24 hours never seem enough for us at a startup!
As they always say, “life runs in PARALLEL, never in Series. Multiply that by 100x in a small startup team with limitless hunger and you get an Usain Bolt sprinting for a marathon — a full 42km.”
Here are the top 3 things we have been working on, especially only weeks since our closed beta for the first 500 users of Seedly.
NUMBER #1: Building new features with early feedback
Over the past 3 weeks, we have launched Seedly, growing the daily user-base and also helping some customers who had issues with the app. It has been a great start, and staying hyper-focused on creating value for users and helping them lead a better financial life. Hence, these are the features we have built for next week’s open beta launch.
- A more seamless bank sync to import transactions automatically
- 4 Digit passcode lock for all Seedly accounts
- Deleting transactions that do not contribute to the full picture
NUMBER #2: Working on the open beta next week
We had to close our first round of betas once we hit 500 users and thus, we opened up the email list again on our landing page shortly after. The aim was to ensure that we serve our first few customers to the best of our ability before opening up to more users.
Again, many users have been asking us for Android and Web versions, but we are right now focusing on delivering maximum value for one platform before moving on and recreating that same experience for the others. So do hang tight!
NUMBER #3: Hiring
We are super excited to announce that our small team will be expanding by 1 more person! Starting next week, we will unveil a new graphic/web designer who will be helping out with our visuals and communicating a more coherent brand to you guys! She will be our fourth member to the team and we are still looking to bring on a full-stack developer to help build Seedly to serve many others in the region as well!
