Midjourney AI Can Finally Inpaint
The missing piece has arrived
While Midjourney AI has been offering the best quality AI image generation for quite some time, one important feature was missing. And now it has finally arrived — Inpainting ( or as Midjourney calls it “vary region”).
This feature adds a whole new layer of customizability to our image generations. Now we can finally fix the parts of the image we didn't get right with the initial generation. Customize our favorite generations. Swap backgrounds and more.
We can easily swap accessories and other small details or completely change larger parts of the image without losing what you liked about the original generation
This also allows us to create different variations of the same thing. As an example, we can now create mockups of different designs on the same backdrop:
