Dario Mungoi is the CEO of Moovi, the startup that won SSW Maputo. Their concept? A web/mobile platform that lets anyone create relevant events within their surrounding community. A unique way of having fun and being creative!
SSW: What brought you to be an entrepreneur? Tell us about your adventure.
Dario: I became an entrepreneur while trying to solve problems that I faced, which no one was addressing on a local level.

SSW: What tip would you give to someone aspiring to be an entrepreneur?
Dario: Start looking at things through a different perspective, questioning why they could be different. If they find a problem, they should find the quickest way to solve it and start dreaming big about that solution.
SSW: Tell us one fun/interesting fact about your country.
Dario: The best way to have fun in Mozambique is to ride public transportation, “chapas”, and listen to the different stories that are told during the trip, mostly in the native language of the southern region, “xitchangana”.
SSW: Who is your role model?
Dario: A combination of Steve Jobs and Elon Musk.
