The user testing results framed design requirements from
the users’ perspective; in addition, it raised attention to
some sections of the system which were lacking thorough
considerations. For example, several additional user
tests need to be performed in moving forward: dierent
board structures and curves of desk. Several participants
have mentioned that the board may not be easy to reach
in sitting position; therefore, a sliding structure could be a
solution that still need to be test on. The intention of the
curving shape was to increase eye contact among all
members in the learning group; however, the size of the
curve is a factor that influences the success of achieving
this goal. Projectors will be used to present booking
information on the desk. More research about projecting
technology will be done, and the projected UI need to be
tested. Because the desk will be placed in informal learning
environment, seating security would require more
research and consideration.
